“Awarded to Dr Forde in recognition of her
early years with Botany Division (1954—59), and the part she
played in the publication of the first volume of the New Zealand
Flora. She continues to provide valuable contributions in
taxonomy, especially toward the preparation of the forthcoming
Volume V of the New Zealand Flora (grasses).”
